PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Violinist Jovani Williams was honored to have been able to present a musical tribute to the later Frederick “Toots” Hibbert, presenting a medley of some popular tracks by the Reggae Icon.
Musician, Producer and father to Jovani Williams had composed the arrangement for this medley rendition, as a way to capture the musical essence of Hibberts, fusing Jamaican folk and reggae elements while retaining the authenticity of the classical violin sound.
This project was recorded at Almond Productions by David Graham, Videographer and Producer for ‘Nyammings’ Jamaica, and edited by Almond’s very own Senior Assistant Producer, Tawjna Williams.
